C2C: The social model of e-commerce.


The internet is really an amazing tool. Right now almost everything is going e-social, resulting in the transfer of power from retailers/companies to consumers.

I think this is why C2C marketplaces is so empowering. Because…almost everyone today with an internet connection has a voice, and can become a successful entrepreneur! We are no longer silent, and passively controlled/influenced by institutions relative to the past.

C2C marketplaces probably are representative of sustainability in business. Technology has made marketplaces scalable and timeless. It has encouraged and facilitated greater conversations, understanding, sharing and most importantly, a community. A great spectrum of vision, advocacy, rock-star madness and passion have emerged.

Someone who can’t wait to get rid of Justin Bieber’s latest perfumes might find a fan who can’t wait to get her hands on it via a C2C marketplace. And no prior branding needs to be involved; the consumer can just sell things immediately (say, after Christmas, lol), or otherwise.

Isn’t C2C social e-commerce an amazing eco-system? We are all connecting the dots.😉
